The Right Move examines and records the accomplishments and in some cases the setbacks of over 35 businesspersons in Jamaica. The method adopted uses personal interviews, detailed study of the annual reports of publicly listed companies and other business material.

This portrayal of the entrepreneurial ingenuity of the persons featured is set against the background of the virtues and pitfalls of globalization, a phenomenon that has forced the state to advance an economic framework encompassing significant structural adjustments in order to facilitate increased productivity and competitiveness.

The Right Move attempts to probe the thinking and the decisions taken by those featured to understand the reasons behind their successes and failures in business.
